I had the honor of performing at the wedding of Jennifer and Eric Young on Sunday 5-31-09 at the Leu Gardens, Orlando. If you have been to this location before you will know it is a beautiful historic manor home with extensive gardens right in the heart of Orlando.
The weather was beautiful, although very hot and the setting for the ceremony in the Rose garden. I can't wait to see these pictures taken by my good friends at Fat Katz Photograhy I am sure it will make for some seriously stunning photographs. A word of warning to any DJs performing a ceremony at the rose garden though. It is at least a half mile walk to carry all your equiment to the ceremony site. Bring a trolly or cart because you are going to need it. Arrive in plenty of time and be prepared to sweat. Do not get changed in to your formal wedding attire until you have set up the ceremony location and sound checked. For Ladies invited to a wedding in the garden due to the walk you may wish to save your heels for the reception back at the manor and not for the ceremony unless you want to walk a fair distance in them!
After the ceremony the guests then went back to the house for a cocktail hour and dinner. Catering was excellent as usual and provided by our friends at Puff N Stuff catering
The evening was perfect, a blend of good food, great conversation and of course fantastic music and dancing provided by Academy DJs
